  Yes. However, we feel that it is best to use short, memorable terms when choosing a URL. Example: ssahelp.com as opposed to ssaconsultants.com. We use the shorter ssahelp.com in most of our advertising materials. You can also use descriptive terms in a URL. Example: myadvocacyservice.com, or getyourbenefitsnow.com.

• What's the difference between a legal and a trade name?
  
  A legal name is the official name of the entity that owns the business. The trade name of a company is the name the business uses with the public. Example: Disability Associates, which is a corporation, has a legal and a trade name that are the same.

• What's a fictitious business name?
  
  A fictitious business name exist when the name used by the business to sell products is different from the legal name of the business. A company might use a fictions business name when their flagship product starts to become synonymous for their company.  Phony example: The Pop-cycle has become synonymous with the frozen treat on a stick. The company who created the now famous product might have been legally called the Frozen Fruit Company.  However, because of the success of the product, the company uses the product name instead of its own.

  DBA stands for "Doing Business As." This term implies that the public name used by the company may differ from the actual legal name of the company.
